Another busy week almost over. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday. The weather rained out our baseball practice today. Tomorrow after practice, Logan and I are heading to Berryville so he can go turkey hunting with his Poppa early Saturday morning. I hope he gets one. Nothing better than fried turkey breast. MMM. I have been busy with school. This week was the introduction to our Capstone project. Hard to believe I only have about 6 months left until I am finished. However, I am considering going ahead with my Master's in either Leadership and Ethics or just an MBA with a focus in Secondary Education. I have always thought about the teaching route, and the more I think about it, the better it looks. Pray that I will make the right decision for me and my family.
I have been relieving stress by knitting and crocheting lately. I have just started a crochet baby blanket for a guy that I work with. They are due in June, so I am hoping that I get it finished. I am also loom knitting, which is a lot of fun, and very simple to do. I did not have much luck with regular knitting, so I saw these at Walmart and decided I would give it a try. I have now bought the entire set. I have made 3 scarves, and I have started a blanket. I am hoping I can gain lots of skill, so I can buy some of the cool hand-dyed yarns that I see all over etsy. I have also been crocheting some little items here and there...dishcloths, potholders, etc. I think it's an addiction.
I have also been reading quite a bit. Trying to catch up on the list of books that I want to finish. I just read The Glass Castle, and it was fabulous. Next up, a change of pace in Monster by Frank Peretti. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.
